Summer Prodigy - Base Installation with Locking Clip

Thread the Locking
Clip onto both the Lap
and Shoulder belts one
inch from the latch plate
as shown.
Re-buckle the vehicle
belt.
Tighen the installation
by rotating the Belt
Tightening Handle to the
left until a appears.
The word “Complete”
will light up on the Smart
Screen letting you know
the installation is
complete.
ALWAYS check for
a secure installation. If
the Base moves more
than one inch side-to-
side at the belt path,
repeat the above steps.
Follow steps
1-10
on pages 35-40. Pinch
the two pieces of
webbing together.
Unbuckle the seat
belt without allowing
the pinched pieces of
webbing to slip.

When installing this Base
with a lap/shoulder belt with an ELR
(Emergency Locking Retractor) and sliding
latch plate, a
Locking Clip
MUST be used.
The Locking Clip
is located on
the back of the
Carrier.

IMPORTANT!
