4 Open the drain valve and the oil in the transformer slowly flows from the transformer into
the tank.
5 Check the position of the oil level gauge according to the temperature-level curve
according to the local ambient temperature. Stop draining when the oil in the transformer
is reduced to the required level.
6 Close the drain valve and remove the drain hose connector and the hose.
7 Re-install the cover plate of the drain valve.
