If the batteries are being installed in areas of extreme humidity levels, take the following precautions:
A humidity control agent is must be placed inside the enclosure, with controlled airflow to expel moist
air, and/or, the system can be installed in proper room with humidity control.
The SSLB1 battery is well designed to be installed in a 19-inch cabinet. If the battery is going to be
installed outdoors, a suitable IP54 or above enclosure must be used.
In Australia, please refer to AS/NZS 5139 for the installation requirements. This product can be installed
under Section 5 of AS/NZS 5139 for Preassembled BS products.
