Safety
It is the responsibility of the operator to conti-
nuously observe the overall technical condition
(externally recognizable deficits and damage as
well as alterations to the operational behavior)
of the meter.
If safe operation is no longer possible, the
equipment must be taken out of service and
secured against inadvertent operation.
Safe operation is no longer possible if
• the equipment has been damaged in trans-
port
• the equipment has been stored under adverse
conditions for a lengthy period of time
• the equipment is visibly damaged
• the equipment no longer operates as pre-
scribed.
