LED Indicators
LED indicators for the MBM-GEM-004 Gigabit Ethernet switch module are listed and
described in Table A-2 of Appendix A.

Port Description
RS-232 Compatible Serial Port
This port accepts an connector cable for uplink using RS-232
connection to a console.
10-Gbps SFP+ Ethernet Ports
These four ports accept a SFP+ connector for 10-Gbps uplink
communications.
1-Gbps RJ45 Ports
Eight 1-Gbps RJ45 ports are provided on the front of the server for
downlink.
