Chapter 3: Maintenance and Component Installation
Installing Internal PCI Expansion Cards
1. Power down the system and remove the top chassis cover (refer to Section 3.1 to
remove power and 3.2 to remove the cover from the chassis.
2. To access the riser card, remove the screw on the side of the chassis and lift out the
riser card.
3. Insert the expansion card(s) into the riser card slot(s).
4. Reinstall the riser card, seating it in the proper slot on the motherboard. Replace the
screw through the side of the chassis.
5. Replace the chassis cover.
