4.5 LED Indicators
IPMI LAN Link LED (Left) &Activity LED (Right)
Color State Denition
Link (Left) Green: Solid 1 Gbps
Activity (Right) Amber: Blinking Active
IPMI_LAN LEDs
An IPMI-dedicated LAN, supported by the onboard Baseboard Management controller, is
located on the I/O back panel. The amber LED on the right indicates activity, while the
green LED on the left indicates the speed of the connection. See the table at right for more
information.
BMC Heartbeat LED
BMC_HB_LED1 is the BMC heartbeat LED. When the LED is blinking green, BMC is
functioning normally. See the table below for the LED status.
Onboard Power LED Indicator

BMC Normal
Onboard Power LED
The Onboard Power LED is located at LED2 on the motherboard. When this LED is on, the
system is on. Be sure to turn off the system and unplug the power cord before removing or
installing components. Refer to the table below for more information.
