Rear I/O Ports
See the gure below for the locations and descriptions of the various I/O ports on the rear
of the motherboard.

VGA Port
The onboard VGA port is located next to IPMI LAN port on the I/O back panel. Use this
connection for VGA display.
Unit Identier Switch/UID LED Indicator
A Unit Identier (UID) switch and indicator (LE1) are located near theg rear I/O ports. When
pressing the UID switch, the UID LED indicator will be turned on. Press the UID switch again
to turn off the LED. The UID Indicator provides easy identication of a system unit that may
be in need of service.
Note: UID can also be triggered via IPMI on the motherboard. For more information on IPMI,
please refer to the IPMI User's Guide posted on our website at http://www.supermicro.com.
