The H11/13/15P winches are hydraulic powered winches with an SAE-J-706
first layer rating of 11,000; 13, 000; and 15,000 lbs. Power from the hydraulic
system is supplied to the winch’s motor, driving a two stage planetary gear-
box. The output of the gearbox drives the rope drum, winding in the wire
rope in turn pulling or winching a load.
These winches are equipped with a hydraulic release, spring applied, multi-
ple disc, fail-safe dry brake. The brake is designed to lock and hold the load
whenever hydraulic pressure to the winch motor is interrupted.
These winches have a freespooling clutch which allows the wire rope to be
removed from the drum quickly. These winches are reversible so the rope can
be powered in and out using the directional control valve in the hydraulic circuit.
These winches are designed with many mounting options. They may be
mounted using the feet or rails, in a horizontal or vertical configuration.
The H11/13/15P winches are not intended or approved
for lifting, hoisting or the transportation of people.
