SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Periodically check the safety equipment for damage, general condition and
operation when applicable. Always replace safety equipment that is in question or
in need of repair:
• Fire extinguisher
• Life jackets
• Visual distress signaling devices
• Audible distress signaling devices
• Navigational lights
• Emergency radios or Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB)
• First aid kit
GENERAL BOATING EQUIPMENT
Periodically check the general equipment on-board for damage, general condition

• Anchors and anchor lines
• Boat hook
• Dock fenders
• Foul weather gear/clothing
• Mooring lines
• Oars/paddles
• Tool kit
