CARBON MONOXIDE
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless and odorless gas produced by all engines,
fuel-burning appliances, and any material that contains carbon and is burned.
Even with the best boat design and construction, plus the utmost care in
inspection, operation and maintenance, hazardous levels of CO may still be
present in accommodation areas under certain conditions. To reduce CO
accumulation, always provide adequate ventilation in the boat by keeping all areas
open and vent enclosures if applicable. DANGER! Direct and prolonged
exposure to CO will cause brain damage or death.

Exhaust traveling along obstruction
Always ensure adequate fresh air ventilation
through the boat when under way.
