F. Sidestand Switch
• This switch is a safety feature that prevents motor operation when the sidestand is down. If
the sidestand were down when riding it could contact the ground causing you to lose control of
the motorcycle and cause personal injury.
CAUTION: Park only on a flat firm surface, otherwise the motorcycle could fall over causing
damage.
G. Sidestand
• The sidestand supports the motorcycle when parked. The key switch should be in the OFF
position when parked.
H. Sidestand strap
• This strap is a safety feature that prevents the sidestand down when riding causing you to lose
control of the motorcycle and cause personal injury.
I. Chain Adjuster
• Located on left and right side. See “Maintenance”, on page 10.9.
