The ABS indicator light does not go off
1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2) Remove the left frame cover. (!GSF1200K6/SK6 9D-5)
3) Remove the fuse box mounting bolt. (!Page 28)
4) Open the fuse box and inspect the ignition fuse

Ignition fuse: 15 A
Is the ignition fuse OK?

Step 8
1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF and disconnect the ABS con-
trol unit coupler. (!Page 26)
2) Turn the ignition switch to ON with the ABS control unit cou-
pler disconnected, measure the voltage between
F (O/Y)
and
N (B/W) at the coupler.
% Normal value: Battery voltage (12.0 V and more)

& Tester knob indication: Voltage (' )
Is the voltage between
F and
N normal?
Step 9
1) Turn the ignition switch to ON with the ABS control unit cou-
pler disconnected, measure the voltage between
A (Brown)
and
N (B/W) at the coupler.
% Normal value: Battery voltage (12.0 V and more)
& Tester knob indication: Voltage (' )
Is the voltage between
A and
N normal?
YES Go to step 8.
NO Replace the ignition fuse.
If a fuse is blown, find the cause of the problem and
correct it before replacing the fuse.
YES Go to step 9.
NO
Inspect the wire harness. (Faulty ignition or
ground wire)
ABS control unit coupler (Harness end)
YES Go to step 10.
NO
Inspect the wire harness. (Faulty indicator light
wire)
