Instantaneous Fuel Economy
Meter and Average Fuel
Economy Meter
To change between “km/L (L/100 km)”
and “MPG”, press and hold the ADJ
button 7 and turn on the ignition
switch. Hold the ADJ button 7 for 4
seconds to switch between km and
mile. At the same time, the odometer
will be changed between km and mile.
To change between “km/L” and “L/100
km”, set the meter D to either instan-
taneous fuel economy meter or aver-
age fuel economy meter and hold the
SEL button 1 or MODE switch
(Down) for 2 seconds.
Instantaneous fuel economy meter
The instantaneous fuel economy
meter displays the fuel consumption
value only when the motorcycle is
moving. However, when the motorcy-
cle is stopping, the fuel economy
meter displays “– – . –”. This meter
ranges from 0.1 to 50.0 (km/L), from
2.0 to 50.0 (L/100 km), or from 0.1 to
99.9 (MPG IMP).

Average fuel economy meter
The average fuel economy meter dis-
plays average fuel economy ratio of
trip A or trip B. The average fuel
economy meter ranges from 0.1 to
50.0 (km/L), from 0.1 to 99.9 (MPG
IMP) or from 2.0 to 50.0 (L/100 km).
The average fuel economy meter
indicates “– – . –” when the trip meter
indicates 0.0. To reset the fuel econ-
omy meter, reset the trip meter.
