ENGINE OIL
Long engine life depends much on the
selection of a quality oil and the periodic
changing of the oil. Daily oil level checks and
periodic changes are two of the most impor-
tant maintenance items to be performed.
ENGINE OIL LEVEL CHECK
Follow the procedure below to inspect the
engine oil level.
1. Place the motorcycle on level ground on
the side stand.
2. Start the engine and run it for a few min-
utes.
3. Stop the engine and wait 3 minutes.
4. Hold the motorcycle vertically and
inspect the engine oil level through the
engine oil level inspection window on the
right side of the engine.
