NOTE: Headlight lens can be fogged after
washing the motorcycle or riding in a rain.
Headlight fogging will be cleared gradually
when the headlight is turned on. To clear the
headlight lens fogging, run the engine to
avoid battery discharge.
WAXING THE MOTORCYCLE
After washing the motorcycle, waxing and
polishing are recommended to further pro-
tect and beautify the paint.
• Only use waxes and polishes of good
quality.
• When using waxes and polishes,
observe the precautions specified by the
manufacturers.
WINDSHIELD CLEANING (VL1500T/BT)
Clean the windshield with a soft cloth and
warm water with a mild detergent. If
scratched, polish with a commercially avail-
able plastic polish. Replace the windshield if
it becomes scratched or discolored so as to
obstruct view. When replacing the wind-
shield, use a Suzuki replacement wind-
shield.
NOTICE
Cleaning your motorcycle with any alka-
line or strong acid cleaner, gasoline,
brake fluid, or any other solvent will
damage the motorcycle parts.
Clean only with soft cloth and warm
water with mild detergent.
