procedure must be repeated until the sand filter pump and hoses are filled with water and the pump
will begin to draw water through the system. Then a vacuum is created inside the system and so
priming is no longer necessary (if the hoses are not disconnected in the meantime).

on Youtube.com, search by name: Sand filter Basic3 Video. If the pool is fitted with a skimmer you can
instead use a garden hose with normal water pressure to fill the sand filter system plus hoses with
water. (see the picture). For pools without a skimmer you can succesfully use a garden hose with
water pressure from the inside of the pool (see the picture). Use the garden hose inside the pool hose
wich goes from the pool to the pump.
4.1
Setup of the sand filtering system
Installation vith flexible hoses or pvc pipe.
Warning: Before you open the casing to the pump motor or any other parts of the pump, you
ALWAYS need to disconnect the pump so that there is no electrical source connected!
The filter pump is screwed on to the filter system's lid.
Remove the two screws (1) from the lid, place the filter
pump on the lid and fasten the pump on both sides
with the screws. Then the pump's front must be
mounted on the filter lid using the connector (2).
Ensure that the pump is installed absolutely horizontal
on the filter lid and that the connector is tightened
correctly.
