A non-normal signal path occurs when the screw cam is set in
the "N" position (only the tip, ring, and sleeve contacts are
utilized). Since there are no normal connections on the jacks,
there can be no normal path; the signal moves straight through
and cannot be interrupted via the insertion of a patch cord. In
other words, the source signal (top row) will not automatically
be routed to the destination (bottom row) without manually
being patched with a patchcord on the front of the unit.
Turn arrow clockwise to this position
for Non-Normal function.
