1. General
Characteristics
COPILOT 15" Mini-ITX is the proposal of SYSTEM
Electronics to combine the needs of an advanced graphic
interface on board machine with a reliable and mecha-
nically robust hardware platform.
The unit consists of a shock and liquid resistant terminal,
easily installable and adjustable through a xing support
compatible with the VESA100 standard.
The terminal is equipped with a SVGA 1024×768 graphic
display and a resistive touch-screen.
Thanks also to the new integrated Wireless solutions,
such as Wi-Fi, the COPILOT 15" Mini-ITX terminal can
operate as a supervisor of the equipment connected to
the machine and communicate with remote devices,
such as the 10.4" Copilot.

3. Description and
operation
3.1 Switching on and o
The COPILOT 15" Mini-ITX is equipped with a power
button on the back, by pressing it you can turn the CPU
on and o. An audible signal alerts the user to turn the
terminal on.
If pressed during Windows operation, it automatically
turns o open applications and then turns o the power.
The system is ACPI compatible.
For other operating systems, the COPILOT 15" Mini-I-
TX is turned o by pressing and holding the button for
more than 4 seconds.
During battery operation, UPS management allows you
to be informed of the presence of mains voltage.
Under normal conditions the internal emergency batte-
ries allow a minimum autonomy of 10 minutes (typical
15 minutes). When the remaining charge is completed,
the CPU is turned o to avoid battery damage.
In the absence of mains voltage, it is advisable to imme-
diately close the applications and switch o the terminal.
You can congure the power button functionality to shut
down or suspend the system, as shown in the gure
below.
