Industrial PC - COPILOT 15" Mini-ITX
Order Code 2E00xxxxNovember 2020 - Rev. 1.3
3.9 Memory and data storage
The COPILOT 15" Mini-ITX provides up to 16GB of
DDR3 RAM memory.
A SATA HDD from 80GB up to 1TB can be installed.
For embedded operating systems (Linux, Dos, Windows
Wes7) it is possible to use a usual SSD state slot that
guarantees a higher reliability in the presence of vibra-
tions related to the use of the equipment.
The SSD disk is available in 16GB, 32GB, 128GB cuts.
The advantage of being able to use multiple storage
media allows, in particularly demanding applications,
to use data redundancy, manage various usable ope-
rating systems or store backups of the machine on an
auxiliary hard disk to recover terminal functionality in
case of damage.
It is recommended to use the optional UPS functionali-
ty to ensure the correct shutdown of the PC in case of
power failure.
3.10 Watch-Dog
The COPILOT 15" Mini-ITX is equipped with a CPU
hardware Watch-Dog, which allows to restart the PC in
case of application crash.
Please contact System Electronics for API details to use
this feature.
3.11 Terminal auto power on
The COPILOT 15" Mini-ITX is equipped with an auto
power on function activated after the power is connected.
This feature allows the terminal to start automatically
when the main power supply to which the COPILOT
15" is connected is turned on.
In case of manual shutdown, the terminal will not turn
on itself. To turn it on again, press the button or remove
and reconnect the power.
3.12 Typical terminal
consumption
The power consumption of the terminal depends mainly
on the type of CPU installed, the status of the display
and any internal add-in cards installed.
Below are the typical and maximum power consumption
measured:
The terminal conguration refers to the PC running Win-
dows 7 Embedded, 8GB HDD and Wi-Fi card not installed.
Signicant dierences in power consumption may occur
depending on the options used.
Standby refers to the situation with the display o and
CPU in power saving mode
4. Back Connectors
4.1 Examples of some available
versions of rear connectors
Various versions of rear connectors are available to meet
the many requirements of practicality and reliability of
the cabling.
Versions with M12 connectors guarantee IP67 sealing
of the terminal.
The unused M12 connectors can be protected by means
of protection caps that guarantee the seal to external
agents.
