1 - 3 Transport
Take great care during transport on public roads. Reduce speed when turning or driving
on uneven ground. Ensure that the transport instructions below are followed. Observe
local regulations concerning road transport.
Take care of the following before transport:
• Check that coupling between tractor and machine is carried out according to instructions and
that the wheel nuts are tightened.
• Check also that the machine's drawgear is not damaged. This is especially important for the
drawbar cylinder fixing points between the machine and drawbar.
• Lift the machine with the lifting cylinder and swing it into transport position with the drawbar
cylinder. Take care that no persons are in the machine swinging area.
• Models 4024 - 4028 - 4032 - 4036: The safety chain A must be fitted.
• Fit safety devices S on the lifting cylinders in the right and left hand sides.
• Raise the guards on both sides of the machine into the transport position. Place the plastic sheet
C onto the guard, turn the rear guard E as shown and tilt the folded guard F to the vertical
position, and lock with the elastic rope K.
It is the responsibility of the owner/operator to provide correct lamps and reflectors
on the machine, when it is transported on public roads during lighting-up time. Lighting
can be supplied as optional equipment - see page 45.

Uncoupling
Remember when uncoupling, and when leaving tractor/machine. When
uncoupling, all hydraulic functions must be in neutral position. The machine must be
lowered to the ground and be safely secured. Place backstop M and N at the wheels
of the machine. Never allow children to play or even stay near agricultural machinery.
