1 Throwing wings (optional equipment)
Normally the machine is used without throwing wings on the cutting discs. If striping problems
occur in spring crops, caused by grass blocking on the discs, throwing wings A may be fitted in
order to limit these problems. Note that the throwing wings are different for right-turning and left-
turning cutting discs. Order No., - see spare parts list of the machine.
Striping problem generally: A higher forward speed may reduce striping problems.

- 4 Lighting
Two different lighting kits and a parking light are available as optional equipment. Code No. - see
the spare parts list of the machine. Assembly instructions are included.
Which lighting kit should be used depends on the laws in each country concerning lamps and
reflectors on the machine when it is transported on public roads during lighting-up time.
The legislation in some countries requires a parking light positioned at the extreme points of the
machine, which means that it is necessary to mount a parking light together with one of the lighting
kits.
B = Lighting kit with a triangular reflector facing backwards and a rear light with red light,
brake light and flashlight.
C = Lighting kit with warning decall, rear light as described at lighting kit B and a forward
pointing parking light.
D = Parking light, red to the rear and white forward.

- 6 Toolbox
The machine can be supplied with a toolbox E. Order No., - see spare parts list of the machine.
Lock clamp No. 68.703.000 is delivered with the toolbox. It is applied for retaining cutting discs
when these are to be dismounted.
