1 Balancing weight
Models 4024 - 4028 - 4028 C - 4032 C:
Counterbalance weight G is used in hilly terrain to stabilise the machine. On models 4024 - 4028
only one weight is used on the left hand side. On models 4028 C and 4032 C, weights are used on
both sides of the machine. Order No., - see spare parts list of the machine.

- 4 High cut skids
High cut skids are recommended in fields with many stones, molehills or uneven ground. As the
same time the cutterbar should be placed in the most horizontal position possible.
The skids must be positioned under the second cutting disc B on the right hand and left hand
side. The skids are fitted as shown at C.
Note: Use the top position E on the right hand and left hand wheel suspension for high cut skids
for correct balancing of the machine.

Straw divider
Straw dividers D are recommended for mowing long, wilted grass and grass lying down. Straw
dividers are fitted on the right hand and/or left hand side.

Connecting link
By the shown adjustable connecting link F stubble height can be reduced by approx. 5 mm.
Adjustment measure must be 290 mm. Hereby maximum inclination (10
o
) allowed for working
with the cutterbar is obtained. Order No., - see spare parts list of the machine.
If connecting link is adjusted to a distance less than 290 mm the universal joint between
cutterbar and right-angle gear will soon be damaged.
This equipment must not be utilised on stony or uneven ground.
