GENERAL
Clean the installation surfaces
When installing and removing parts, be sure
that the surfaces of contact of the parts are
clean. If the sealing grooves of the surface of
contact are damaged, consult your sales or
service dealer for repair or release.
Seals and split pins
•Besuretoreplaceallsealsandcotterpins
with new ones.
•Wheninstalling,becarefulnottodamage
or twist the seal.
Sealing tape
•Whenwrappingtheplugwithsealingtape,
remove any old sealing tape from the
threads and clean the threads.
•Wrapthethreadtightwithsealtape
starting 1 or 2 threads away from the
thread end.
Disposing of wastes
•Alwayscollectoilthatisdrainedfromthe
machine in containers. Improperly
disposed waste oil can cause
environmental harm.
•Followappropriatelawsandregulations
whendisposingofharmfulobjectssuchas
oil, fuel, cooling water, coolant, filters and
batteries.
Check after maintenance
•Gradually
increasetheenginespeedfroma
low idle to maximum speed and check that
there is no oil or water leaking from
serviced parts.
•Operateeachcontrolleverandcheckthat
the machine is operating properly.
Cautions on handling of battery wiring
•Disconnect
thewiringfromtheboth
terminals (+ and –) on the battery before
working on the electrical system or doing
electric welding.
Always disconnect it from the earth side (–).
When connecting, connect the earth side
last.
•Donotdisconnectthebatterywiringwhile
the engine is moving. Otherwise, the
electric circuits of the rotary converter or
others may be damaged.
