Why is no product being dispensed from my Taylor Freezer?
    • H
      hsmithAug 7, 2025
There are several reasons why your Taylor Freezer might not be dispensing product. It could be due to: * Low mix levels, indicated by the Mix-Out light being on. Add mix to the hopper. * The power switch being in the OFF position. Switch it to the ON position and press the Auto button. * The beater motor being out on reset. Allow the beater motor to cool, turn the power switch OFF, press the RESET button, turn the power switch ON, press the Wash button, and ensure the drive shaft turns clockwise. Then, press the Auto button. * Incorrect usage of the mix feed tube. Ensure you are following the correct feed tube procedures and using the air orifice properly.

What to do if the product from Taylor Freezer is too soft?
    • S
      Spencer PattersonAug 13, 2025
If the product from your Taylor Freezer is too soft, consider the following: * Adjust the draw rate to 5 oz. to 7 1/2 oz. (142 g to 213 g) of product by weight every 10 seconds. * Be mindful of the freezing cylinder's capacity; the continuous draw rate is approximately 15 cones. * Ensure there's at least 6 inches (15.2 cm) of clearance around all sides of the machine. * Clean the condenser or air filters regularly on air-cooled machines. * Check the water supply and lines for leaks or kinks on water-cooled machines. * Replace the scraper blades if they are bad. * Adjust the viscosity if it's set too warm. * Verify you're using the mix feed tube correctly, including the air orifice.

If the product from your Taylor Freezer is too thick, it might be due to improper priming procedures. In this case, drain the freezing cylinder and reprime the machine. Another possible cause is that the viscosity control is set too cold. Try adjusting the viscosity.

If the mix in the hopper of your Taylor Freezer is too warm, it could be because the hopper cover is not in position. Ensure the hopper cover is clean and properly placed.
