Basic operation
o The default value is 12.
o When you turn the VOLUME knob, the volume will
be shown for about three seconds.

Sudden loud noises could damage your
hearing or cause other harm. Set the volume
to minimum. After sound output begins,
adjust the volume to a suitable level.
NOTE
When not using this unit, press the STANDBY/ON but-
ton to put the unit into standby.
Changing the tone
1 Press the TONE button
In the middle of the display “tone” will appear and the
“b” above it will blink.
2 Use the MULTI JOG buttons to set the low
frequency value.
o The default setting is 0 for both the low-frequency
and high-frequency bands. They can be set
between −5 and 5.
1 Press the STANDBY/ON button to turn the
unit on.
o Even when in standby (unit off), pressing a func-
tion button will turn the unit on.
2 Press a function button to set the playback
source.
When a playback source is selected, the correspond-
ing indicator lights.
o When using the remote control, press the
FUNCTION button repeatedly until the indicator for
the desired audio source lights.
3 Turn the VOLUME knob to adjust the volume.
00 (MIN): minimum volume (no sound)
36 (MAX): maximum volume
Turn the VOLUME knob right to raise the volume and
left to lower it.
