Firmware upgrade
Updates to the remote and the build-in Crossfire is applied using our TBS AGENT software.
Update the Radio with FreedomTx
- Power up your Tango II
- Start your Agent X
- Connect the Radio with your PC/ Mac
- On the radio select “Agent (HID)” and press Enter
- In the Agent X select the TANGO II device and click on Manage
- Navigate to the Firmware Tab
- Click on Upgrade for the version you want to flash on your radio
- On the upgrade screen, hit update again
- When the agent finished the update and the update button is available again, the update is done
Important note:
Make sure your tango 2 is on V1.13 (Beta) or later!
Update the build-in Crossfire
- Power up your Tango II
- Start your Agent X
- Connect the Radio with your PC/ Mac
- On the radio select “Agent (HID)” and press Enter
- In the Agent X select the TANGO II XF device and click on Manage
- Navigate to the Firmware Tab
- Click on Upgrade for the version you want to flash on your radio
- On the upgrade screen, hit update again
- When the progress bar is at 100% do not disconnect your radio. The update is not done yet!
- When the agent finished the update and the update button is available again, the update is done
