Insert the cassette.
Be sure the edge of the cassette
where the tape can be
seen faces down.
(The playback will begin)
6) Adjust the volume level, etc.
Use controls on the amplifier
connected to this unit.
Press to stop.
Press to advance the tape.
&} Set to position corresponding to type of tape to be
used.
u) Press to the “in” position. (H__ =)
ePress to release to the “out” position (mM) for
playback without using the Dolby noise-reduction system.
Press to stop the tape temporarily.
ifitis pressed during playback (‘‘cueing” the tape)... The tape will be fast forwarded while the
button is pressed, and will resume playback when the button is released.
Press to rewind the tape.
If itis pressed during playback (‘‘reviewing” the tape)... The tape will be rewound while the button is
pressed, and will resume playback when the button is release.
Note:
Be sure to first reduce the volume level setting of the stereo amplifier before cueing or reviewing the
tape.
@ To use tape as a wake-up alarm
1) Playback the tape to be used and adjust the volume
level and tone as desired.
@ Stop the tape at the place where you want playback to
begin.
© Set the timer to the desired time.
Switch off the power of other equipment connected to this
unit (amplifier, tuner, tape deck, etc.).
6 Press the Play button.
After setting the timer
Check to be sure that the power switch is at the “on” position.
™ To make unattended recordings
1) Tune (on the tuner) to the broadcast station which will
broadcast the program to be recorded.
@ Follow steps 1 to 10 of “Recording” on page 7.
eTune to the broadcast and make the adjustment of the
recording level.
(3) Set the timer to the desired time.
Switch off the power of other equipment connected to this
unit (amplifier, tuner, tape deck, etc.).
4) Press the Pause button to release the pause mode.
After setting the timer
Check to be sure that the power switch is at the “on” position.
