NOTE
To perform the following operations, aim the remote control at
the TV.

Press this button to set the power button and TV/VCR channel
select buttons to the TV mode.

Press this button to switch the power ON and OFF.
When this button is used, be sure to first press "TV” button.

Press these buttons to change the channel on the TV.
To control VCR

[VCR]
Press this button to switch the power button and TV/VCR channel
select buttons to the VCR mode.
[VCR 11
Press this button to change the input selector on the receiver to
the "VCR 1” position.
I POWER 1
Press this button to switch the power ON and OFF.
When this button is used, be sure to first press “VCR” button.
I ▼ T WVCR Al
Press these buttons to change the channel on the VCR.
Press this button to begin play on the VCR.
[ ■ S TOPj
Press this button to stop play on the VCR.
To operate VCR 2, set the input selector on the receiver to the
VCR 2 position._
NOTE
If you operate a TV, VCR, CD player (or CD changer) or a tape
deck using this remote control, the unit may fail to operate
due to the differing nature of the remote control signal.
If the remote control fails to operate:
It is necessary to reprogram the signal within the remote con¬
trol by following this simple procedure.
For CD player (or CD changer) operation
Press POWER and CD simultaneously, hold
LJ CD for 2 seconds.
For TV operation
jggsggj __ Press POWER and TV simultaneously, hold
j” | for 2 seconds.
For VCR operation
i powE " | _ Press POWER and VCR simultaneously,
j j hold for 2 seconds.
For Tape deck operation
igpw E gi Press POWER and TAPE simultaneously,
□ hold for 2 seconds.
To restore the previous memory contents, carry out the
same operations one more time.
Depending on the model, there may be cases where opera¬
tion is still not possible even if the remote control signal is
switched over due to differences in frequency range
characteristics.
