Listening to an external source
You can connect DCC (or DAT) or analog turntable to this system.
The following example shows when you select DCC.

Each time you press EXT, '‘DCC" and
“PHONO" will be alternately displayed.

Recording from an external source
The following example shows when you record from an analog

Press REC PAUSE on the cas¬
sette deck to put the cassette
deck into the recording stand¬
by mode.

Press EXT to select an exter-
nal source from which you
want to record.
Press one of the playback but¬
tons (<J or E> ) on the cassette
deck to start recording.
M Start playing the source to be
“ recorded.

To stop recording:
Press □ on the cassette deck.
To briefly Interrupt recording:
Press REC PAUSE on the cassette deck.
Tlie cassette deck will go into the record¬
ing standby state.
To resume recording:
Press one of the playback buttons (< or
>) corresponding to the direction in
which recording Is taking place.
To record on a DCC (or DAT) tape:
