Processes one or more channels on a satellite. That is: reception of the data of the
ground station, amplification and transmitting back to earth.
Universal-LNB
A three band LNB for the reception of the frequency ranges FFS (10.70 - 11.70
GHz), BBS (11.70 - 12.50 GHz) and FFS high band (12.50 - 12.75 GHz).
The whole range is grouped into 2 bands.
Low band: 10.70 - 11.80 GHz; LOF 9750 MHz
High band 11.70 - 12.75 GHz; LOF 10600 MHz
Supply voltage
The receiver provides the LNB with a voltage of 14 or 18 Volts via the coaxial cable.
Viaccess
Digital encoding system.
Intermediate frequency
The frequency range transmitted by the satellite cannot be transferred via a cable
and therefore has to be converted into an intermediate frequency range of 950 to
2150 MHz by the LNB. This makes the transmission to and the processing by the
receiver possible.
