Standard connections:
Channel mapping
Channel mapping
Cello 4S allows for up to eight channels to be monitored and recorded. Each physical input to Cello 4S is allocated to
one, or more (refer also to "Standard connections: channel shadowing" section of this document), of these channels and
conventionally the following allocation is provided in the configuration files:
(where 'GPi' = General Purpose input)
However the allocation of inputs to channels is programmable within the configuration file such that any physical input
can be allocated to any channel.
Notes
Where a 'Pressure' option is fitted in conjunction with the "Universal eight signal" input then
one of the channels is allocated to the pressure thereby reducing the number of 'GPi' inputs from
eight to seven. Additionally each pressure sensor allows, via the configuration file, for the
monitoring of the temperature of the applied media however each temperature input used will be
allocated to a channel there by reducing one the number of channels remaining for other,
physical, inputs.
In addition to the various external physical inputs that can be applied to teh connections on the outside of the Cello
4S, and allocated to the available eight channels, it also provides internal parameters that can be allocated to any
spare channels. The following parameters are available:
- Internal battery voltage
- External battery voltage
- Internal secondary cell voltage
- External power status
- Cellular network signal strength
- Internal temperature
