TIPS FOR MAKING YOGURT
• Youcaneithermakealargebatchofnaturalyogurtdirectlyinthebowl
(maximumquantityof1litreofmilk),ina17-cmdiametersoufflédish
ormakenaturalyogurtinindividualoven-proofglasscontainers.The
45in1bowlfitsaboutfouryogurtcontainers,dependingontheirsize.
Washthecontainersinwarmwaterandwashingupliquid,thenrinse
anddrythemthoroughly.
• All the equipment used in the yogurt making process should be
sterilisedusing Milton sterilizingsolutionorcleanedinadishwasher.
Sterilising is important to prevent the introduction of undesirable
airbourneorganismswhichcouldinterferewiththeincubationofthe
culture,andresultsinrunnyyogurtwhichwillnotset.
• Preparetheyogurtmixtureasinstructed(seerecipebookorthesection
“Choiceofmilk”and“Fermentationtime”intheinstructions).
• Youcansweetennaturalyogurteitherwhenyoueatthemorwhenyou
makethem.Aftermakingsimplyaddoneortwoteaspoonsofsugar
or honey per pot. Alternatively when preparing the yogurt mixture
dissolve the sugar when boiling the milk or dissolve in the cold milk
(nomorethan80gsugarfor1litremilk).
• Press“Menu”buttonandscrollthroughtoselect“Yogurt”.Thescreen
displays the default cooking time of 8 hours. The cooking time is
adjustable from a minimum of 6 hours to a maximum of 12 hours.

• Press«Menu»keytoselectfunction«Yogurt».Thescreendisplaysthe
defaultcookingtime,andthe“Start”lightflashesred.
• Press«Temperature/Timer»keytoselectthetimesettingfunctionand
thenpress«<»and«>»tochangethecookingtime.
• Press«Start»key.Theapplianceentersinto“Yogurt”mode,the“Start”
lightstopsflashingandthescreendisplaystheremainingcookingtime.
• Attheendofthecookingtime,theappliancewillsoundthree“beeps”
andwillreturntostandbymode.
These is no keep warm at the end of the cooking.
