Time Difference Measurement Between Two
Pulse Waveforms From Different Sources
(Figure 15)
1. Obtain a normal sweep display.
2. Confirm SEC/DIV CAL (Variable) control is in the
CALibrated detent position.
3. Set Trigger Source to CHI.
4. Connect known reference signal to the CHI INPUT
connector and the comparison signal to CH2 INPUT
connector.
5. Set Vertical Mode to either CHOP or ALT mode and
center each of the displays vertically.
6. Measure the horizontal difference between the two
signals.
7. M ultiply this distance by the SEC/DIV switch setting
If X10 MAG control is used, divide the difference by 10.
