Equipment required Prerequisites
Sine wave generator (Item 9)
Level meter and power sensor (Item 10)
Two male N to female BNC adapters (Item 14)
Two precision coaxial cables (Item 4)
One or two SMA male-to-female BNC adapters

1. Install the test hookup: Connect the equipment as shown in the figure below
(start with the sine wave generator connected to the instrument). (See
Figure 47: Equipment setup for maximum amplitude on page 283.)
2. Set the Generator:

Set the sine wave generator to a reference frequency of 10 MHz.
■
Adjust the sine wave generator amplitude to the required number of
divisions as measured by the instrument.
