nd Pulse Trigger Typ es.
This manual uses the
following conven tio ns:
Yo u cannot use any of t
he advanced trigger functions t o arm B
triggering.
You do not have to di
splay a channel in order to use the channel
as a trigger source.
The range of time v
alues for pulse w idth (regular and runt) and
slew rate is from 39.6 ns to 10 s.
In the menu tabl
es, N represents a numeric value entered using
the general purpose knob.
Pattern Trigger
Pattern triggering tr iggers the oscilloscope when two sig nals become
logically true or false. Basically, the pattern-triggering feature triggers
the oscill
oscope from the output of a two-input AND, OR, NAND, or
NOR logic gate. You can specify time constraints and signal threshold
levels as part of the trigg ering condition. This trigger is useful for
digital l
ogic troublesho oting.
