4.4 RST button
The Regesta Smart PRO features an external button labeled “RST” on its connector panel. This button serves two
functions:
Firstly, it can be pressed to initiate a reboot of the device.
Secondly, it is used to restart the device with its default configuration. The default configuration assigns IP
192.168.1.1 to the WAN port.
To prevent accidental activation, the external button is securely protected. It requires the use of a sharp-pointed ob-
ject to activate it.

4.5 Dying gasp alarm
The Regesta Smart PRO offers the option to add a board that enables an alarm to be triggered in case of a power
outage or if the power supply cable is removed.
With a power consumption of only 10W, the device remains powered for up to 6 seconds, allowing the alarm to be
transmitted through any active interface.
This alarm, referred to as GW.075, can be sent as an Event, SNMP-TRAP, or Syslog through the Event Logging
System (ELS).
