11. SOS
The SOS function allows you to set up to 5 contacts to be your emergency contacts, who will be 
notied when you require assistance from them.
To turn on this function, go to MENU > Contacts > Options > Settings > SOS > SOS setting and
select On.
The  default  SOS  message  is  "Please  help  me!"  To  change  the  SOS  message,  go  to  MENU >
Contacts > Options > Settings > SOS, press the down navigation key twice, enter the message, 
and press the left soft key to save the message.
To  add  an  emergency  contact,  go  to  MENU > Contacts > Options > Settings > SOS > SOS
number, select a number marked "Empty" from the list, press the right soft key , and select a 
contact from your contact list. You can add up to 5 emergency contacts saved in the phone memory.
Notes:
- Only contacts saved in the phone memory may be added as emergency contacts.
- We recommend that you obtain approval from your contacts before adding them as your emergency 
contacts.
- The SOS function can be activated only when your phone has a valid micro-SIM card installed and 
is on. If your phone is open, the SOS function can be activated only when your phone is displaying 
the home screen.
To activate the SOS function, ensure your phone is on and press and hold the SOS button on the 
back of your phone for 5 seconds.
- Your phone will start calling your emergency contacts one by one starting from the rst one until a 
call is answered or you press   to deactivate the SOS function.
- Your phone will send an SOS message to each contact it calls.
- For each contact it calls, your phone will keep calling for up to 10 seconds before trying the next 
emergency contact.
- If none of your emergency contacts answers the call, your phone will restart calling your emergency 
contacts one by one starting from the rst one.
- In case you activate the SOS function by mistake, you can deactivate it by pressing  .
12. MAKING A CALL
12.1 Placing a call and ending a call
To call a phone number that is not in your contact list, return to the home screen, use the keypad to 
dial the desired number, and press  .
Tips:
- If you dial the wrong number, delete the incorrect digits by pressing  .
- You can save the dialed number to your contact list by selecting Options > Create New Contact.
To call  a  phone  number that  is  in  your contact  list,  go to MENU > Contacts, select the  desired 
contact from your contact list, and press  .
To end a call, press  .
12.2 Answering / declining a call
To answer a call when your phone rings or vibrates, press or the left soft key .
To decline a call when your phone rings or vibrates, press  or the right soft key .
