24. UTILITIES
The Utilities folder contains four apps: Calculator, Recorder, Todo, and Unit Converter. These
apps can be your handy tools in case of need.
To open an app in the Utilities folder, Go to MENU > Utilities and select one of the apps in the
folder.
24.1 Calculator
You can use the Calculator to perform basic arithmetic operations.
- Enter a number using the keypad. Press the key to enter a decimal point. Press the key to
enter a minus sign.
- Press a navigation key to choose an arithmetic operation to be performed (add, subtract, multiply,
or divide).
- Press
to calculate the nal result.
- Press the left soft key to clear the previous entries one by one, or press the right soft key to
clear all entries at a time.
24.2 Todo
You can use the Todo app to create, view, and edit your to-do lists. A to-do list is a list of tasks that
you need to do, or things that you want to do. A to-do list can be a shopping list, a list of places to
visit, a list of tasks to do, etc.
As an example, to create a shopping list containing apples, beer, and cookies, follow the steps
below:
1. From the Todo home screen, press the left soft key .
2.
Enter a name for the shopping list and press the right soft key to create it. To create the shopping
list using the default name (List x), press the right soft key directly.
3. Press the left soft key , enter "apples" in the Task Name eld, and press the right soft key
to save the item.
4. Repeat Step 3 above to add "beer" and "cookies" to the shopping list.
Tips:
- To check or uncheck an item in a to-do list, highlight it and press
.
- To edit or delete an item in a to-do list, highlight it, press the right soft key , and select Edit or
Delete.
- To edit or delete a to-do list, highlight it, press the right soft key , and select Edit or Delete.
- The most recently created to-do list always appears at the top on the Todo home screen.
- The item most recently added to a to-do list always appears at the bottom of the to-do list.
24.3 Recorder
You can use the Recorder app to record audio such as a verbal conversation with someone or any
noise you hear on a street.
To record audio, follow the steps below:
1. From the Recorder home screen, press the left soft key to begin a new audio recording.
2. Press
to begin the recording. Press
again to pause the recording.
3. Press the right soft key or to end and save the recording.
To play an audio recording, following the steps below:
1. From the Recorder home screen, press the down or up navigation key to highlight a recording.
2. Press
to view the recording's details.
3. Press
to start playing the recording. Press
again to pause the playing.
4. Press to end the playing and return to the Recorder home screen.
