e.- Symbol rate
By pressing the button, we access the
fifth extended menu. This indicates the real
symbol rate in QAM, for example 6.875.
This is useful when carrying out the IRD
programming when it is necessary to know
exactly what the symbol rate of the QAM
modulation is.
This is a read-only menu, therefore neither
the button, nor the and buttons are
in use.
f.- Exit status
By pressing the button, the user can
access the following extended menu with
three options:
- Output a continuous wave in the same
central output frequency
- Normal output of the QAM signal (normal
working condition)
- Output switch-off (no output)
QAM output Continuous
carrier enabled
No output signal
g.- Internal temperature of the TDT
By pressing the button, it is possible to
access the extended menu that displays the
internal temperature of the TDT+ in degrees
celsius. For example 37.5 degrees celsius:
5.3 - Saving the parameters
To save the data, press the button for
approximately 3 seconds. When the data is
correctly recorded, the central segments of
the digits on the programmer display start
flashing on and off:
If the configuration data is modified but not
saved, the previous configuration is
retrieved once 30 seconds have passed, in
other words, the changes made are
cancelled.
