Setting the V-belts in place
 Set the V-belt in place on the V-belt pulleys o
f
the engine (1) and generator (2).

Aligning the upper tensioning pulley (view: fan side; right)
Aligning the upper tensioning pulley and
tightening the bolts
 Swivel the upper tensioning pulley in onto
the V-belts.
 Align the tensioning pulley to the engine.
To do this, place the long ruler against the
tensioning pulley (2) and V-belt pulley on
the engine (1).
 Tighten all fastening screws at the base of
the tensioning pulley support (3).

Aligning the lower tensioning pulley and
tightening the bolts
 Swivel the lower tensioning pulley in onto
the V-belts.
 Align the tensioning pulley to the engine.
To do this, place the short ruler against the
tensioning pulley (2) and V-belt pulley on
the engine (1).
 Tighten all fastening screws at the base of
the tensioning pulley support (3).
