3.6. Use of the stove
Below is the procedure used for testing/approval of the stove.
It is this procedure that will lead to the best combustion for the given chimney.
Theamountofrewoodandthedampersettingcanbeadjustedtotheindividualneedfor
heating and the draught in the particular chimney.
Your new TT80 has an air regulator (Air control handle) that is located under the door, in the
middle of the stove.
When the air control handle is positioned all to the right(when looking at the front of the stove),
the stove is set for ignition air supply. This setting is also called Startup air(Primary air). This set-
ting may only be used during the ignition of the stove, and for max. 10 minutes.
As soon as the stove is warmed up(latest after 10 minutes) the Air control handle must be moved
to the position of normal use(Secondary air). This is from the left side to the center position.
Placetheaircontrolhandleinthecenterpositionuntilthereisstabileandenoughheatisgene-
rated by the stove.
Dependingonthetemperatureinthere,theamountofwood,thedraftinyourchimneyandthe

that matches your desires, and also secures a good usage of the wood. The more air is supplied
to the stove, the cleaner it will burn and the usage of the wood is optimized.
Air control handle placed to the left, looking at the front of the stove, means that the air supply is
closed. This position may only be used when the stove is out of use, and cold.
Air control handle placed in the middle means maximum air supply. This setting secures enough
airtotheburningre.
3.7. Lighting guide
3.7.1 Structuring the re
