OPERATING FEATURES OF YOUR UNIT
Your cooler has two principal operating modes:
Regular fan operation: The cooler operates as a conventional motor-assisted fan. In this mode it is
not necessary to have water in the tank.
Cooling Operation: When there is water in the tank, the unit may be switched into Cooling Mode.
In this mode, the warm air in the room is sucked into the unit via the inlet lter, mixed with water
from the tank and passed through the outlet lter in a very ne mist. The water instantly evaporates
on contact with the air in the room causing a cooling breeze.
Special Features
All these features are available in standard fan or Cooling mode.
Variable Fan Speed: The cooling eect may be varied by altering the fan speed. Three speeds are
available, Low, Middle and High.
Adjustable Louvres: There are two sets of louvres in the fan outlet . The vertical louvres can be
angled up or down manually as required and the horizontal louvres are motorised.
Swing: The horizontal louvres oscillate horizontally providing a wider area of operation.
Timer Operation: Your cooler can be operated either continuously or for a preset time of 1, 2, 4 or
8 hours.
Operating Modes
Normal: The cooler operates at a constant speed as set by the speed control.
Nature: The speed cycles from high to o to simulate a natural breeze. The change in intensity of
the breeze depends on the SPEED setting.
Sleep: This mode is a variant of the ‘Nature’ mode specially adapted to give you a comfortable
night-time breeze.
