CARE, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Cleaning and maintenance should be carried out regularly, at least once a month, and more
frequently if you are using the evaporative cooling function for extended periods several times a
week. Cleaning should be done thoroughly to minimise any possible health risk.
Before any cleaning or maintenance , switch the cooler o and unplug at the mains.
First detach the cooler unit from the water tank. Place the cooler unit on a table or kitchen worktop
close to a sink for easy access.
Cleaning the inlet lter.
The lter cover is held in by two tabs. Hold both tabs down and then lift o the lter cover.
The inlet lter comprises the lter cover, the lter and the lter trough.
Remove the lter and immerse the lter and the cover in warm soapy water. Brush them carefully
with a soft brush to remove any deposits.
Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.
Brush out the trough, and all the holes
with a small brush dipped in soapy water,
rinse and dry.
Re-assemble after cleaning.
