B. Intended Use
This Chapter describes the application areas for which the detector is intended.
The testo gas detector is an instrument which detects gas on the spot.
The multi-area sensor can detect methane (CH4), propane (C3H8) or hydrogen (H2)
concentrations in a concentration range extending from a few ppm to the lower
explosion limit.
Areas of application include proving the presence of gas in rooms and detecting leaking
points in gas systems. The detector is designed for use by trained personnel.
