I. Service and Maintenance
This Chapter describes steps which ensure that the detector continues to function
properly.
I.1 Cleaning the detector
Clean the housing using a damp cloth if soiled. Do not use any abrasive cleaning
agents or solutions! Weak household cleaning liquids or soap water can be used.
Clean the sensor head, if soiled, with a dry, soft cloth.
I.2 Annual inspection
In accordance with the DVGW Sheet G 465-4, we recommend you have a yearly
inspection carried out on the gas detector by an authorised service point. The
inspection is confirmed by an inspection sticker applied to the side of the detector
housing. The inspection sticker also indicates when the next inspection is due.
