6.5.11.2 Removing Fan Assembly (65x Series)
To remove and replace the fan assembly on the 65x Series notebook, perform the
following procedure:
1. Remove the Top Cover Assembly as described in Paragraph 6.5.10.
2. Remove the two screws that secure the cover plate to the FIR/Audio Board.
3. Remove the two screws holding the fan assembly in place and unplug the
fan cable connector from the FIR/Audio Board.
