General Information
A TOUR OF YOUR COMPUTER
Your computer console IS the central part ot
your
computer system. It's designed so that all
of
the other units of the system easily connect to
thIs console. No tools are required.
Getting Started
Let's look at the front and right side of your
computer.
1 This is the ON /OFF switch. The small light
next to the switch indicates when the
computer is ON,
2 Command Module software* snaps I11to this
outlet.

This keyboard is used to type information
into
the computer.
4 This outlet is for optional peripheral
accc-;~oric~. Details arc included with the
appropriate peripheral.

This is the back and left side of the console:

5 The Cassette Interface Cable* connects to
the console at this 9'pin "'0" outlet.
6 The Power Cord attaches to the console at
this 4-pin outlet.
7 This 5-pin connector (also called a DIN
connector) is for audio-out and video-out,
This connector will insert easily ",",hen
properly aligned,
8 The Wired Remote Controllers connect to
lhis 9-IJill outlet. Delails ale illduuetl wilh
the accessory.
(Note: Do not confuse this Q-pin outlet with
the
9'pin outlet on the back of the console.
They are not interchangeable.)
