Always stop the engine and take off the lid of the spark plug before making
adjustments or repairs. Only exception is
when adjusting the carburetor.

Only use original spare parts. If not you may experience bad performance or injury
and the warranty is invalid.

Examine the tool for loose bolts and nuts, leakage etc. Replace any
damaged parts. Replace the trimmer head if it
is cracked, chipped or
damaged in any other way.
!
Make sure that the trimmer head is fitted correctly and securely fastened. If
not this may lead to serious personal injury.
! Make sure that all safety guards and handles are correctly and securely
fastened.
!
The cord head rotates while the carburetor is adjusted. Wear protection and
follow all safety instructions.
!
Let the engine cool off before storage.
!
Empty the fuel tank and fasten the trimmer when it is transported.

Mix an
d store fuel in only approved containers
!
Mix only fuel outdoors in areas withouth any appearance of sparks or flames.
! Choose an empty area, turn off the engine and let it cool for a minimum of 2
minutes before tanking.
!
Loosen slowly the fuel cover and av
oid the fuel from floating beneath the
cover.
!
Clean for any spilled fuel, Move it 3 meters away from the filling spot before
the engine is started.
