- You must not touch or try to stop the trimmer head while it is rotating and the engine
is on.
- A rotating trimmer head can cause injury as it keeps turning after the engine has
been stopped or the throttle control has been released. Always keep control of the
machine until the trimmer head stops rotating .
- Make sure the trimmer head is mounted correctly and safely before use
- Use only original spare parts.
8. Operation
- High grass should always be cut from the top and downwards. In this way you
prevent the grass from being wrapped around the trimmer head and thereby lead to
over heating and damage. If grass and the like is wrapped around the trimmer head
the engine must be STOPPED, the spark plug cap taken off and the grass then
removed.
Trimming technique
- For moving the line forward you tap the trimmer head lightly against the ground
while the engine runs at full speed.

- Hold the trimmer at an angle towards the area that is to
be cut
- The illustration shows the best cutting angle (A).
- Use the cord to cut. Do not force the trimmer head into
grass that has not yet been cut. Wire and fences are
hard on the line and may even cause it to break Stones
and walls, and wood cause the cord to be worn down
very fast. Walk around trees and bushes. Bark and trees, wood boarding and poles
are easily damaged by the cord.
9. Replacement the nylon line
Remove the bumper-head knob by turning it anti-clockwise. Remove the spool and the
spring.
Measure 8 meters of line. Pull one end of the line through the hole in the spool and pull
until both ends have the same lengths.
Wind the line onto the spool in the direction of the arrow. Make sure the line is not twisted.
When 15 cm remain pull the line through the eyelets of the spindle.
